![]() I won the group in 2 out of the 3 tourneys. I started doing chess tactics online and spotting opportunities in game to take a pawn or take a piece, then I started playing in three online tournaments for under 1000 players. Then he changed his tack and started to try out different ways, I beat him again. So, I figured out a way to beat him, always. He beat me, I know for a fact that he isn't that good, he is just really defensive. He moved every pawn onto the third rank and I thought that was weird. I'll tell you why, somewhere around the beginning of December a colleague brought a chess set into the school where I work and we had a game. ![]() I get what you are saying, but my problem is I like the rating system. `Įdit - Ha! I just lost a game! First one since January 11th. I do take back sometimes, maybe once a game, but I am working on that. ![]() I can beat level 3 regularly, and level 4 on occasion. I think I should be over 1000 but I just don't know. In fact the only games I have lost in the last month have been because of time (I usually play about 10 games at once). My rating doesn't reflect that because I have timed out a lot. I am new, but I walk through players up to 1000. I just want to know if there is a rough ratings guide for the different levels of Stockfish. Generally I don't like to play shorter time controls on against human players because they always do crazy stuff that doesn't allow me to think about the lines I want to play (I know, I am a dinosaur, but I want to learn what I am doing). ![]() I think I am doing alright, however I mostly play daily chess (so I can think about it more). I have been playing chess regularly for about 3/4 months. ![]()
